ü The bearing housings seal plates and covers are all machined from solid steel no fragile cast iron to work with when replacing bearing. ü The peg feeder is all stainless steel and driven by a hydraulic motor which has five times the life of an electric variable speed drive. The Gearn peg feeder is the only peg feeder which is sealed to stop steam run and dribble with unwanted steam in the roll room. ü For greater control and reliability the hydraulic cylinders are manufactured by Gearn Industries and have heavy duty urethane seals and wipers, with hardened steel adjustment nuts. ü Dual 50 hp this gives a longer life and greater reserve power for maximum production with high moisture grain. Design for 24 hour a day operation meaning less down time for maintenance. ü 12 to 16 tons of corn per hour output depending on grain condition, and flake weight. ü Get what you pay for.
