Gearn 18 X 36 Roller Mill 2004

The Gearn 18" x 36" rolls complete with the new dual drive system for a better flake and lower electric demand charge. Comes with two 30 h.p. electric motors for extreme conditions, stainless steel peg feeders with hydraulic motor, quick mount belt guards, swing open chain guard, pneumatic isolation mounts and rubber pad shock mounts. The heavy frame of the Gearn roll makes it a very rigid machine which means a more consistent flake and a longer life machine. Six tons of quality flaked corn per hour. We go to great lengths to make sure that the rolls are absolutely parallel. The slightest amount of misalignment will cause flake damage. This is very important and the only way to assure alignment is a very heavy frame which has been machined in and not just welded up which is the only way it is done by our competitors. When purchased with the Gearn hydraulic package you have finite control with a tough hydraulic motor doing work in the peg feeder (pin feeder). The Gearn mill will weigh more than our closest competitors. This is one tough machine designed to run 24 hours a day.

Gearn mills have the added feature that both rolls come out the front of the mill. Even our seal caps are machined from heavy steel stock, no stampings or light aluminum. The Gearn mill has a standard front lubrication system which makes it a snap to grease every bearing and pivot from a convenient front location. Mentioning pivots, all pivots are bushed with hardened steel replaceable bushings. Check that out on any competitors' mill, it's not there. The Gearn mill comes standard with an all stainless steel sealed peg feeder to stop steam from escaping into the roll room. If your operating without an air lift then you need the Gearn steam vent system which has a particle water separator. This is the machine if you demand quality.
